A nutty recipe for youth

The inconspicuous fruits of hazel contain many medicinal properties. Hazelnuts, because we are talking about them, are a rich source of vitamin E, also called the vitamin of youth and fertility. You will also find B group vitamins that will strengthen your digestive system, as well as potassium, calcium and phosphorus.  If we’re sick and struggling with cough, hazelnuts will help us. Just add finely chopped nuts to milk or water with honey and just drink.

If you want to avoid cardiovascular disease, be sure to include hazelnuts in your menu. They are a great addition to many dishes, sweet pastries for example. Discover the recipe for delicious chocolate nut cookies:

Components:

  • 150 g baking margarine
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cream
  • 70 g hazelnuts
  • 70 g almonds
  • 1 pack of milk chocolate

Preparation:

Mix the flour with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add chopped margarine and cream. All together quickly knead and put in the fridge for 60 minutes. Then roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm and cut into 3×4 cm rectangles. Place the cookies on a greased and flaked baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Put a few nuts or almonds on the cooled cookies and pour over the melted milk chocolate.
