Easy Caramel Cheesecake

Do you like dulce de leche – this delicious, very sweet, thick mass.? Dulce de leche is a confection prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk to create a substance with flavor similar to caramel.

If you do not have time to make your own dulce de leche, we advise you to use ready-made Bakalland products. You may choose Caramel Cake Filling (traditional flavor), Hazelnut Cake Filling or Cocoa Cake Filling. You may use it in different ways – below you find a recipe for cheesecake using Caramel Cake Filling from Bakalland as topping. Surprise your family and friends with this cake!


• 150 g biscuits
• 50 g butter
• 700 g cottage cheese – twaróg in Polish
• 3 large eggs
• 3 yolks
• 50 g sugar
• packaging of vanilla sugar
• 2 spoons of baking powder
• 1 Caramel Cake Filling from Bakalland
• 50 g Bakalland almonds
• 50 g of Bakalland walnuts


Crumb the biscuits. Mix them with butter and put on the bottom of a springform pan lined with baking paper. Prepare now the cheese mass. Crumble the cottage cheese (twaróg) and mix with sugar, gradually add eggs, egg yolks, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Pour the mixture into the springform pan. Put the form in the oven preheated to 180 °C and bake for 40 minutes.
After the cake has cooled down, prepare the caramel mass. Heat the mass from Bakalland can in a saucepan until it becomes slightly pouring. Then pour the mass on the cheesecake. Decorate with nuts and almonds.
